En esta obra trabajamos con las nociones de restos y residuos de cuerpos, materia, afectos, imágenes, con el deseo de tejer nuevas relaciones éticas y poéticas entre lo visible y lo invisible y entre lo efímero y lo que permanece. The rest of dance es una danza de restos: un exceso siempre presente en nuestro cuerpo, un residuo como reserva de lo que vendrá.

Bodies entering in close proximity, creating intimacy, making agreements, leaving, dealing with expectations, hopes, risking losing more. Choreographers Ana Laura Lozza and Bárbara Hang explore what is left behind when bodies meet and separate again. In a choreography of disruptive temporalities and relentless displacements, the artists weave new ethical and poetic relationships between the visible and the invisible and between the ephemeral and what remains. “The rest of dance” is a dance about rests: a bodily rest, a leftover that is always present in our bodies, an excess as a reserve of things to come.
